Abstract

High savings rates support sustainable economic growth. However, data shows a decline in savings, especially among low-income earners, which can reduce their purchasing power. Observed savings behavior, especially among Generation Z, often occurs only when there is a surplus of income after consumption needs are met. This study aims to conduct a comprehensive study of the impact of financial literacy, financial inclusion, and peers on savings behavior among Generation Z. The urgency of this research is to evaluate and understand factors such as financial literacy, financial inclusion, and peers that can drive an increase in savings behavior in society, especially among Generation Z. The research method used is quantitative with a research population of Generation Z living in Tasikmalaya. A total of 120 respondents were involved in this study with data collected through the distribution of online questionnaires via Google Forms. Data analysis was carried out using the SmartPLS software. The results of the study show that financial literacy, financial inclusion, and peer influence have a significant impact on the savings behavior of Generation Z in Tasikmalaya
